Artist Nathan Jurevicius is celebrating the 10 year Anniversary of the world of Scarygirl he created with over 100 artists at TT Underground gallery in NY. Each artist has selected one of the main 7 characters from the world and reinterpreted them in
their own style. I made a tiny canvas painting of Treedweller. The show starts on Halloween night! Visit the gallery website

LUCHA LIBRE ! group show

I created my own female wrestler for a fun group show titled
"Lucha Libre!" presented by The Beast Brothers and
Rotofugi Gallery in Chicago. Opening reception is this Friday
October 5th. My painting and sketch will be showing with other Lucha Libre themed pieces from amazing artists.

Thanks & Apologies About Hansel & Gretel Show

Thank you so much for everyone who came to my Hansel &
Gretel show opening! Also, many apologies to those who had
to wait in the long line and who had to give up coming in
because of the line. My show was on the second floor and
since the main show on the first floor was very big, there was a huge crowd and some confusion...
The show is up until September 9th. Now you can see
the pieces in person without waiting/admission fee on the
second floor of Gallery Nucleus.

New Prints from Gallery Nucleus

Hansel & Gretel is finally opening this Saturday (Aug18) and
we are releasing 7 new prints for the show!

The first three are images of H & G main characters that I
made only for the show. You can get one of them for free with every purchase of the original ink page. (not sold separately)

The other four are the paintings I did for a show in Rome in
late 2010. Heart, Brain, Stomach and Eyeball. Giclee print
on 100% cotton, acid free paper. Velvet fine art texture
on radiant white base. 14" x 11". $50 each and the full set is
$180. Available at the gallery and their online store.

The opening reception is from 7pm to 11pm and my show is
on the second floor of the gallery.

HANSEL & GRETEL show at Gallery Nucleus

Just like the Cinderalla art show last year, I and Gallery
Nucleus have decided to do another show with original pages
from Hansel & Gretel.
Please note that the show was first scheduled to open on
August 4th but now it has been pushed back to AUGUST 18TH.

Many of the original pages from the book will be on display
and available for purchase. I'm now working hard retouching
all the pages.
When I made the book in 2000, I had to make all the drawings much simpler than usual to make it possible to color them all on computer in a very short period of time. They look ok
in color but look a little too blank as black and white.
So I decided to add a lot of details to make them look good as art pieces. Please see the before&after images below to
see what I'm doing. It's a lot of work but also fun to revive old artworks.
I'm planning to keep posting more before&after images on my Twitter page so please check it out here.

There will also be new prints and T-shirt available. The gallery is having raffle at the opening and I'll be there signing my

SDCC EXCLUSIVE WOOD PRINT !!

Hi-Fructose magazine and I are bringing another exclusive
wood print to San Diego Comic Con !
